Renowned for her refined aesthetic and unwavering attention to detail, Natalie’s work is defined by an ability to create spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal. With a firm belief that great design should not only be beautiful but purposeful, her projects balance form and function with effortless precision.

Natalie has built a flourishing studio known for its aesthetic, clarity, creativity, and organisation. Her process is as considered as her designs; structured yet intuitive, ensuring each project is thoughtfully tailored to the people who will live in it.
Alongside Natalie is a small, exceptional team of designers, architects, and collaborators she has hand-picked for their expertise. She surrounds herself with specialists in their fields, creating a studio environment where ideas flow, details matter, and every client is supported by true professionals.
What truly sets Natalie apart is her presence. Clients are drawn not just to her design sensibility, but to the warmth, honesty, and care she brings to every collaboration. She listens closely, communicates clearly, and leads with both heart and expertise, making the journey as rewarding as the result.
Every space Natalie designs is a reflection of the people within it - crafted with intention, grounded in lifestyle, and designed to be lived in beautifully.

ETHOS
Designers have a moral obligation to create designs that prioritise the well-being of people and the environment. The relationship between these two is closely knit in various ways. Therefore, our approach to sustainable design takes into account the ecological, societal, and economic aspects, recognising them as components of a unified and interconnected solution.
I believe that a home or space should be beautiful, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, as much as it must be functional, sustainable and practical. Accomplishing all aspects is our utmost priority and the area in which we excel.

My Story

I’m Natalie, founder and creative director of Natalie Boyd Design House. My team and I create lifestyle-led architecture and interiors that feel effortless, refined, and deeply personal. Every new project still gives me butterflies - there’s something so special about hearing someone’s vision and imagining the life they’ll live within the spaces we design together.

I grew up in Switzerland, spent my twenties travelling the world and working in the performing arts - a chapter that continues to shape my creative lens. My work draws from global architecture, art, movement, music, culture and nature, and I’m passionate about designing spaces that are both beautifully elevated and genuinely lived in.

Today, my husband Gal and I run our design studio together in Brisbane, where we live with our two daughters, Arielle (10) and Avi(8). With Gal leading sourcing, procurement and our custom furniture line, our multifaceted design studio brings a holistic approach to every project - from the first idea to the final installation.
As a designer, a mother and a business owner, I deeply understand the rhythms of a busy life, and the importance of a home that supports and inspires you. It’s a privilege to help families and visionaries create environments that not only look exceptional, but enhance the way they live every day.
