Our Design Services & Investment Guide

Full-Service Architectural & Interior Design

Where architecture and interiors are conceived as one cohesive vision from the outset.

We guide each project from early concept through planning, documentation and construction support, shaping a home that feels considered, refined and deeply aligned with the way you live; long before construction begins.

Typical design investment
$120,000 – $220,000+ in design fees depending on size, complexity and level of detail.

Typical construction costs:
Custom homes of this nature are often in the vicinity of
$5,500+/sqm, though this can vary significantly based on location, site, design, size, complexity and specification.

This service is best suited to clients seeking a beautifully considered home where architecture, interiors and detailing are designed to feel seamless and enduring.

Full-Service Interior Design

For projects where the architectural framework is in place but the interior requires a cohesive, highly detailed design direction.

We design layouts, joinery, materials, lighting and finishes, and guide procurement and installation through to completion, ensuring every layer feels calm, cohesive and intentional.

Typical design investment
$70,000 – $160,000+ in design fees, depending on scope and level of involvement.

Furnishings & Final Layering

For clients seeking a fully furnished and move-in ready home. Our furnishing projects generally have a furniture budget of $200,000+.

We curate furniture, lighting, artwork and soft furnishings, and can manage procurement and installation so the home is beautifully complete from day one.

Typical design investment
$50,000+ in design fees, with furnishing budgets varying depending on the scale of the home.

Overall Design Investment

Where architecture and interiors are delivered together, the overall design investment often sits within a range of approximately:

5% – 15% of the construction value.

This reflects a fully bespoke service where design is carefully resolved, documentation is thorough and the home is considered in detail before construction even begins.

A Tailored Approach

These figures are intended only as a guide.
Every project is different, and we regularly shape our services to suit the scope, priorities and budget of each client.

Following our initial conversation, we prepare a detailed design proposal outlining:

  • scope of works

  • stages

  • timelines

  • and a design investment aligned specifically with your project

There is no expectation at this stage — the initial conversation simply allows us to explore whether we’re the right fit and how we can best support you.

We are known for thoughtful, highly detailed design accompanied with clear documentation.
This results in:

  • fewer surprises during construction

  • clearer pricing from builders

  • a smoother, more considered build process

  • an exquisite end result

Our Process

Our full-service architectural and interior design process is a considered, end-to-end approach designed to remove complexity, protect your investment, and deliver exceptional outcomes.

PROJECT STAGES

INTRODUCTORY DESIGN CALL After completing our Project Enquiry Form, you’ll be invited to an introductory design call with Natalie. This conversation allows us to understand your lifestyle, goals, aesthetic direction, site conditions, timeline, and budget expectations. You’ll then complete a detailed design brief to ensure clarity from the outset. If there is strong alignment between us, we proceed to a tailored Design Proposal.

DESIGN PROPOSAL Following our consultation and after receiving the design brief, we prepare a comprehensive, customised Design Proposal. This outlines the full scope of works and design stages required to take your project from concept through to construction, associated fees, timelines, and contractual terms, ensuring absolute transparency before we commence.

SITE ANALYSIS & APPROVAL STRATEGY We design with approval in mind from day one. Before any concepts are developed, we review site conditions, existing documentation, and relevant planning, zoning, and environmental controls. This early analysis confirms approval pathways and reduces risk, delays, and redesign later in the process.

CONCEPT DESIGN This is where the vision takes shape. We coordinate site surveys and develop the foundational ideas for your home, exploring spatial layouts, x3 floor plans, architectural form, materiality, and overall aesthetic direction. The concept design sets the creative and functional framework for the entire project.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT Your concept is refined into a resolved design. We develop a detailed 3D digital model; carefully refining proportions, aesthetics, architectural elements, and spatial relationships. At this stage, architecture, interiors, and functionality are aligned to ensure the design works beautifully as a whole.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION Precision is everything. We produce a comprehensive set of detailed drawings and documentation that translate the design intent into a build-ready format. These documents guide engineers, builders, and trades, ensuring the project is priced accurately and constructed exactly as designed

CABINETRY & JOINERY DESIGN Our joinery design is treated as architecture. Every element is meticulously designed; from layouts and storage optimisation to material selection, moisture resistance, plumbing coordination, and hardware detailing. This ensures both beauty and long-term performance.

DOCUMENTATION & FF&E FINALISATION All design decisions are locked in. We consolidate and refine all FF&E, joinery, and construction details into one cohesive, fully coordinated, build-ready design package.

FURNISHING DESIGN & SELECTIONS A home is not complete without considered furnishings. Integrated into our 3D model, we curate furniture, lighting, accessories, and artwork to complement the interior architecture; delivering a cohesive, layered, and highly resolved final outcome.

TENDER & CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT We remain closely involved as your project moves into build. Our team assists during tendering, builder coordination, and construction, ensuring design intent is protected and questions are resolved efficiently as they arise.

FURNITURE, FURNISHING & PROCUREMENT Our clients benefit from complete transparency. We work directly with trusted suppliers and artisans, sharing trade pricing and coordinating procurement while authorising payments directly between you and the supplier, ensuring clarity, confidence, and control throughout the process.

Below, you’ll find a selection of examples from our past projects, showcasing the level of detail, design thinking, and craftsmanship that goes into every aspect of our work.

CONCEPT FLOOR PLAN EXAMPLES - Initial floor plans are vital for our design journey as they allow us to envision your home's layout, express your design concepts, and to communicate our design with contractors and other professionals during the early design stages.

JOINERY DESIGN & FURNITURE PLAN EXAMPLES - Our highly detailed joinery design and documentation ensure precision and clarity, providing our clients with a clear vision of their space. This level of detail also empowers cabinet makers and builders to execute the design flawlessly. Elevations are essential in wet area designs as they provide a frontal view of the space, allowing for better visualisation of fixtures, finishes, and cabinetry, helping to identify potential issues and ensure informed design decisions before construction begins
